Roland Trinh


Roland Trinh, a partner at Lagerlof, Senecal, Gosney & Kruse, LLP is involved in a majority of the firm’s litigation and chairs its intellectual property practice on trademark and copyright. Roland is well versed in water law, business and corporate transactions, and trusts and estate planning. Roland serves as general counsel to private corporations as well as public agency water districts, and enjoys counseling tech start-ups and burgeoning artists.

Roland’s litigation experience spans a multitude of civil areas, including commercial and business disputes, trust and probate litigation, civil restraining orders, and mandamus actions involving county and municipal governments. He has had ample success with mediation and arbitration as means of alternative dispute resolution.

A native of the San Gabriel Valley, Roland worked for Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly in Pasadena after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley in 2001. While earning his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, Roland was a clerk at the Office of General Counsel for the California State University before serving in the same capacity at Lagerlof, Senecal, Gosney & Kruse, LLP in the summer of 2004. He joined the firm as an associate after graduating from law school in 2005.

Roland is a member of the Board of Directors for the Pasadena Police Activities League (PAL), a nonprofit after school crime prevention program that provides educational, cultural and athletic enrichment to Pasadena’s youth. He is fanatical about his California Golden Bears, loves to play basketball and football, and is an all-around avid sports fan. Roland also enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, motorcycles, music, craft beer, and searching for food nirvana.

Roland is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association and is conversant in Cantonese.
